Allure of Kingdoms

Ancient Past

where the past is ancient and the kingdoms are alluring.

๐ŸŒฑ
Start with dirt.

One field, one rusty hoe, and a goat named Gerald who does not respect you.

๐Ÿช™
Work your way up.

Chase goats. Dig suspicious holes. Negotiate with rats. Every job pays โ€” somehow.

๐Ÿฐ
Build an estate.

Turnip patches become taverns become trade routes. Hire servants who mostly help.

๐ŸŽ–๏ธ
Earn your name.

Reputation can't be bought โ€” scheme, donate ostentatiously, compliment the goat.

๐Ÿ‘‘
Take the throne.

The old king has no heir. Thirteen ranks stand between your dirt and his crown.

No gold required. Gerald is included. Unfortunately.

The gate guard remembers you. Probably.

Questions from the town square

Is it free?
Entirely. Reaching King costs nothing but ambition and an unreasonable number of turnips. Optional Allure Points buy convenience and hats โ€” never ranks.

Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in your browser, on anything with a screen. The kingdom is very portable.

What kind of game is it?
A silly text-based progression game: work medieval jobs, build an estate, hire servants of questionable usefulness, and climb 13 ranks of nobility.

Is it pay-to-win?
No. Reputation can't be bought. The throne must be earned. The duck insists.
